Call for Papers -- DARS 2006

The goal of the Symposium on Distributed Autonomous Robotic Systems is to exchange and stimulate research ideas to realize advanced distributed robotic systems. Technologies, algorithms, and system architectures will be presented and discussed during the symposium.

Accepted papers will be included in the Proceedings of DARS 2006, which will be published as a monograph by Springer-Verlag.

Topics include but are not limited to:

Architectures for teams of robots Human and robot interaction
Biologically inspired systems Learning and adaptation in teams of robots
Cooperation of multiple robots Multi-robot applications in exploration, search and rescue, service, etc
Control issues in multi-robot systems Multi-robot motion coordination
Distributed/cooperative perception Performance metrics for robot teams
Distributed decision making Robot societies
Distributed planning Self-organizing robotic systems
Distributed task execution Sensor networks
Distributed robotic systems Swarm robotics

Paper Submission

Submit papers of not over 10 pages by January 22, 2006 electronically at http://dars06.cs.umn.edu/submission.html. The deadline is January 22, 2006 at 11:59pm Hawaii time.
